We are...

Engaging
Curiosity

Our garden educators teach a hands-on, standards-based curriculum in the garden. Science, math, and language arts take on new life among the ecosystem of the garden.

Growing
food

Each school garden goes through three seasons of crops per year. Students plant seeds and seedlings in September, February, and May.

Tasting &
Cooking

From blending smoothies to stir-frying, students will taste the produce that they grow. Children who are a part of the growing process are more excited to try new foods.

Our School Gardens

Our school gardens are used as an outdoor classroom where our garden educators provide standards-based curriculum to students Kindergarten through fifth grade. Garden lessons include planting, counting, measuring, observing, recording, creating, comparing, and (everyone's favorite) cooking!

Each school has a student-grown, student-led cooking experience once a semester. Students learn food prep skills and get to taste their own recipe!
